In observance of the upcoming Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 2, 2024, EDCO will not be performing residential curbside collection services (except in Lakewood, with no delay), and customer service offices and the buyback center will be closed. As a result of the Labor Day holiday, residential waste and recycling collection will be delayed one day all week following the holiday (except in Lakewood, with no delay).
Waste and recycling collection services for commercial businesses will not be affected by the holiday. Service will be provided on the regularly scheduled service day (except in Buena Park, El Segundo, La Palma, La Mirada, and Rancho Palos Verdes ~ with service delays). EDCO’s public disposal site will also remain open on Monday, September 2nd.
